This notepad is for text, not rich formatting. It keeps line breaks and ordinary characters, which makes it suitable for a quick draft, checklist, code snippet, or text you plan to paste into another application. It does not add bold formatting, images, shared editing, or version history.
As you type, the note is stored in this browser's local storage on this device. Returning to the same browser profile can restore it automatically. The text is not sent to a QuickConver account or server by this tool. Local browser storage is convenient but it is not a backup: clearing site data, using private browsing, changing devices, or a browser storage failure can remove access to the note.
Download creates a UTF-8 .txt file so you have a copy independent of browser storage. Open .txt reads a local file in your browser and replaces the current note only after confirmation. The import limit is 2 MB to keep the editor responsive. Always download an important draft before clearing the page or device.
The live counts use visible text characters and whitespace-separated words. A line is separated by a newline; an empty editor has zero lines. Word counts for languages without spaces, such as Chinese or Japanese, will not match linguistic word segmentation. For specialized counts, compare with the dedicated Word Counter or Character Counter tools.
