How this calculator works
The calculator multiplies length by height or width to find gross area, subtracts openings, and applies a waste allowance. It divides the adjusted area by package coverage and rounds up to whole packages. Cost is package count multiplied by price per package.
Example: a 40 ft by 8 ft wall area is 320 square feet. After 60 square feet of openings, the net area is 260 square feet. With 10% waste and 93 square feet per package, the estimate rounds to 4 packages and 256.00 at 64 per package.
