Enter the amount being financed rather than the vehicle sticker price. The financed amount may include or exclude a down payment, trade-in payoff, taxes, registration, dealer products, service contracts, and lender fees depending on the offer. Enter the quoted annual rate and the number of monthly payments.
The calculator estimates a fixed-rate, fully amortizing payment. A longer term usually lowers the monthly payment but can increase the total interest paid. Compare both figures rather than selecting financing based only on the monthly amount.
Dealer and lender offers can have different fees, rate conditions, payment dates, prepayment rules, rebates, and financing requirements. Obtain the itemized purchase and finance disclosures, then compare the amount financed, finance charge, total of payments, APR, and any optional products before signing.
