How this calculator works
The calculator multiplies total wall length by wall height and subtracts openings. It adds waste for trimming and pattern matching, then divides by usable roll coverage. Strip count is based on total wall length divided by strip width.
Example: 48 feet of wall at 9 feet high equals 432 square feet before openings. After 60 square feet of openings, the net wall area is 372 square feet. With 15% waste and 30 square feet per roll, the estimate rounds to 15 rolls.
